How to be a good Member

What would MeetDistrict be without its Members? Sure, we would save a lot of money on cleaning services and energy consumption. But without the buzz of hundreds of people coming together in our various work and meeting spaces, we wouldn’t be anything more than just another pretty picture.

That being said, providing a workspace for that many people really calls for some guidelines in order for it to remain a pleasant environment for everyone to enjoy. Introducing: the MeetDistrict Code of Conduct, which serves as the perfect framework for our Members to actually come together as one Community. Dive in, and discover how you can contribute to MeetDistrict’s best version of itself.

Respect never goes out of style

Respect really is the key to creating a workspace that people love to return to. Every single person deserves to experience that they are as valuable as anyone else making part of our Community, and achieving that could be as easy as a simple hello or some helpful behaviour. We are a big group, so if everyone could keep an eye out for each other and be respectful of one’s boundaries, we’re sure for everyone to feel seen, safe and understood as well. That way, you’ll feel heard without having to be loud.

Allow MeetDistrict to reach the best version of itself

Since we are constantly striving to be the best flexible workspace provider our clients could wish for, every single corner of our various locations has been meticulously shaped and designed for a particular purpose. For instance; come have lunch with us on the MarketPlace, and meet with us in the MeetBoxes. No one likes to have to swipe off breadcrumbs from the same table where they’re hoping to sign a big business deal a little while later. All furniture and equipment has an equally designated place and function as well, so make sure not to switch chairs from one room to the other.

We aspire to be the workspace that awes, so don’t confuse us with your living room at home. For instance; putting your feet on the tables or laying down in the sofas doesn’t fit with the corporate environment we wish to provide. Next to that, MeetDistrict is proud of its numerous sustainability efforts that support us in achieving climate neutrality by 2030, so your contribution in that is crucial. How? By disposing of your waste in the correct bins, it’s so easy!

When something looks off, it probably is

Imagine a buzzing and energetic workplace with a big number of people working in focus, hurrying from meeting to meeting and several companies coming together for training and all kinds of events.

Does that seem like a suitable environment for a dog - or any other kind of animal? Don’t get us wrong; we agree your pets are the cutest, but we don’t want to disturb neither them, nor your fellow Members. So they should stay at home.

Now picture a fridge stacked with lunch, snacks, and drinks. Sure, we’re a shared workspace, but what people store in the fridges to keep cool is not just for anyone to take. We share, but never steal!

Did you see something else that looks weird, or just feels… off, then don’t hesitate to notify Team MeetDistrict. Just come to the FrontDesk or use the app’s Service Button, we are happy to help and always ready to be of assistance.

Conclusion

We’re a big group, so everyone has a part in creating a workspace where everyone feels comfortable, safe and happy. There is no doubt in the world that MeetDistrict loves its Community, so drawing up a Code of Conduct is our promise to constantly demand respect where respect’s due. Both for our Members as for the shared space that was designed specifically for them. Because it will always come back to this: MeetDistrict is nothing without the people that shape it.
