On 12^th and 19^th September and on 03^rd October, we invited our Members for the second edition of our Indian Summer Event. Indian summer is commonly known as the period during which we’re holding on to the last strands of summer whilst getting back to our daily routines. In other words: the perfect backdrop for a celebration of the Corporate New Year. And that’s exactly what we got our Community together for at MeetDistrict Berchem, Diegem, and Gent.

At MeetDistrict, we believe that you should do what you love and love what you do. And our concept has been specifically curated to provide professionals with the perfect environment to do exactly that. So during our Indian Summer Event, we spared no expense to welcome back our Members after a well-deserved summer break!

For the hundreds of attendants, we transformed the MarketPlaces of MeetDistrict Berchem, Diegem and Gent into an Indian summer extravaganza; complete with paper lanterns and beautiful flower arrangements provided by our partners of Season Flowers. Taking care of the summery beats were our partners and audio technicians of AV, DJ Valtheri d’Amato in Berchem and Diegem, and DJ Yellow Mellow in Gent. The perfect scene for a successful networking event.

After a warm welcome from each location’s Host Team, our Members were invited to help themselves to a refreshing non-alcoholic beverage from our partners of NONA Drinks, to the exotic cocktails and mocktails from our partners of Sang De Pascual, and to the Mediterranean tastes of Hierbas Ibicencas. And as per usual, our partners of Lambrecht Wijnen were there as well for those who preferred a good glass of wine or bubbles in MeetDistrict Gent instead.

When you throw a party, the food should better be good! Next to treating our Members to a large selection of charcuterie and cheese boards, we also joined forces with Plantbeest who took care of a delicious vegan buffet – desserts included! Snacks in between were kindly provided by our Members of Intersnack, who got everybody hooked on their different flavours of Hula Hoops.

Spoiling our Members didn’t just stop with treating them to a pleasurable networking event. As we had done before, we decided to throw some prizes in the mix as well!

In the leadup to this event, our Members had the opportunity to participate in the Indian Summer Event Competition; where they had to share a picture of themselves wearing a pair of sunglasses enjoying the summer sun. Congratulations are in order for Laura from Kraft Heinz, Ruth from Vialto Partners, and Bram from Page Personnel who walked home with a delicious beverage selection kindly gifted by Sang de Pascual in Berchem and Diegem, and by Hierbas Ibicencas in Gent.

And that’s not all: as our partners of Season Flowers took care of this event’s surprise give-away. Walking away as the lucky winners of a silk flowers cheque were our Members of YouConnect, E&A Consultants, and Penneo. Guaranteeing some very beautiful window views next time you pass by their offices!
